This unit appears to be well made and fits the Tomtom XL just fine. The unit shipping now does not have the ring for a hand strap as shown on the Amazon site. Large magnetic closure for the top is effective.

This case does not hold the GPS tightly. The GPS just slides up and down inside it. Almost like it is made for another model GPS.

This case is pretty nice, holds the Navigon 7200t perfectly. It's not padded, but seems good quality.
