3not badNov 17, 2009
product works fairly well , sometimes it has a hard time finding a signal outside but after a few minutes it finally does.

5Excellent GPS receiverNov 04, 2009
Very sensitive receiver. Not hard to set up if you have used other blue tooth equipment. Battery lasts longer than any laptop battery (over 10 hours). Very good value for the money. Worked very well with MS Streets & Trips.

5BT-359 and Closeouts Master both exceptioanlSep 23, 2009
Actually the BT-59 that I received from Closeouts Master had a problem connecting with my HTC Touch phone. I contacted the seller and got an immediate response that they would ship me a new one the next business day. They did and this unit works great - fast satellite lock and stays locked.
But I was especially impressed with the customer service from Closeout Masters. Wish there were more like them.

5Works perfectlySep 14, 2009
Got this as a gift for a birthday. After I acquired my first lock with it, it gets a lock in under 5 seconds every time in the car, and can often get it deep inside my office building. I have no comment on the battery life yet since I had it plugged in for the entirety of my only trip with it, but I do have to say that it's great that it uses mini-usb to charge. Pairs well with my Samsung Omnia i900, on which I can run google maps or iGo8 flawlessly. The accuracy is quite nice; I did not notice a difference in usability between it and a normal Garmin or TomTom GPS, which was great driving through the back woods of MA at midnight in the rain. It was extremely obvious where I had to turn each and every time.

One comment for Omnia users and probably Windows Mobile 6 + users: I had to pair with it like normal using code "0000", set it to use the serial port connection protocol (double click on it after pairing), then go to the COM Ports tab of the BT menu, and establish an outgoing COM port using COM port 6. At this point, it looks like there is no connection, but the connection via COM port seems to be an on-demand thing, because as soon as you setup google maps to use COM port 6 and 38400 baud as the speed, then tell google maps to "Use GPS", the connection is established and you see the blue light on the BT-359 blinking nice and quick. Hope that helps someone, bc I almost sent it back thinking the pairing was failing.
